How to reach Goa

By Air

Flights to Goa can be taken from Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and most of the main cities of India. Both national and international flights are operated from the airport of Goa located at Dabolim. It is situated near Vasco-da-Gama – an important port town of Goa. It is at a distance of about 30 km from Panaji. International flights to Gulf countries and UK fly from Goa Airport.

By Rail

Tourists can take trains from metropolitan cities like Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi to reach Goa. The Konkan Railway has developed the communication between the major Indian cities with Vasco-da-Gama and Margao.

By Road

Regular bus service is offered by the state transport corporations of Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka. Kadamba in Panaji is an important bus terminal of Goa. Interstate bus service are also available in Goa.

For transportation within the state of Goa, tourists can take either bus or can hire cars. Ferry services can also be accessed by tourists in Goa. Motorcycle taxis are also available here to travel from
