Kochi, Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram are the 3 major airports in Kerala. Kerala is well connected to other major Indian cities by air. International flights are also operated from these airports. From Kozhikode flights are available for Dubai, Kuwait, Chennai, Mumbai and Coimbatore. From Kochi airport, one can take flights to reach Sharjah, Muscat, Goa, Chennai, Bangalore and Mumbai. From the airport of Thiruvananthapuram, airplanes fly to Maldives, Doha, Kuwait, Singapore, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai.
By Rail
One of the convenient ways to reach the state of Kerala is traveling by rail. The state is well connected to major cities of India like New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai etc by railway system. In Kerala there are about 200 railway stations.
By Road
Kerala has a developed roadway system. Most of the places in the state is connected by metal roads. The state is connected with other parts of India by National Highways 47, 49 and 17.
