Munnar Hills

At the confluence of the 3 streams (Nallathanni, Kundala and Mudrapuzha) the Munnar Hill is situated. The beautiful hill station is situated at an altitude of about 1600 meter. The British rulers of South India made the Munnar Hill station a summer resort.

Vandiperiyar

The city of Vandiperiyar is popular for its tea factories. Coffee, tea and pepper plantations are found in this town. River Periyar flows through this city and its water is used for the plantations. Flower gardens and agricultural farms are also found in Vandiperiyar.

Pullumedu

The flora and fauna of Pullumedu add to the natural beauty of this hilly region. The lush greenery of this region offers a stunning view to the tourists. From Pullumedu, the Sree Ayyappa Temple can be seen.
