The ideal time to visit Khajuraho is any time between the months of September to March. Another attraction of
visiting the temples of Khajuraho is the sound and light show that is arranged every evening for about 50
minutes in both English and Hindi. The entry fee for an Indian visitor to this show is Rs 75 while an entry
fee of Rs 25 is charged for a child. In case of foreigners, Rs 300 is charged as entry fee to the sound and
light show. A child visiting from outside India will be charged Rs 150.
Tourists visiting Khajuraho temples should take care of their luggage they carry with them and also be
especially careful about the pickpockets.
