From Darjeeling, tourists can visit the Tiger Hill at about a distance of 13 km. In this hilly region, Tiger Hill is considered to be the highest point. Its elevation is about 8482 feet. Tourists should not miss the majestic view of the Kanchenjunga peak at sunrise from here.

Senchal Lake

It is another tourist attraction near Darjeeling. It is also a noted picnic spot of this region. Water of this lake is the source of drinking water in the town of Darjeeling.

Kurseong

This beautiful city is situated near Darjeeling. It is situated at an altitude of 1458 meter. Tourists must visit the spot called Eagle’s Crag in Kurseong from where the magnificent view of the surrounding hills and plains of Siliguri can be seen.

Mirik

This place is located at an elevation of about 1967 meter. The Sumendu Lake is a famous place of interest for tourists in Mirik. The weather of this tourist spot remains temperate through out the year. Orchards of Orange and extensive tea-gardens are seen in Mirik.
