Christ Church

Christ Church & St. Michael's Cathedral

This church was built in 1846-1857. It is an exquisitely marvelous heritage being preserved by Shimla for centuries. The Church overlooks the ridge and is one of the landmarks of Shimla. The quadrupled beauty of the church comes with the stained glasses fitted on its windows. One can discretely look inside the church and can attend the religious sessions in the Church for a calm & peaceful day.

Jakhu Mandir

Jakhu Temple

This temple is dedicated to Lord Hanumanji standing tall at an enthralling 8048 feet above the sea level. The majestic views of the great surmounted hills, plush greenery & snow-capped peaks can be clearly had from this place. It also offers marvelous & picturesque views of sunrise & sunset. Jakhu Temple is a 45-minute walk from the ridge and one can also hire a pony or taxi to visit the temple.

Sankat Mochan

This temple is located at an amazing altitude of 1975m from where an excellent panoramic view of the town can be clearly had along with majestic greenery. The temple has a great campus and prayers are offered at this place on a large scale every Sunday.

Tara Devi

This is a great holy place also being enjoyed as a picnic spot by the tourists. It offers great photogenic views of the Shimla town and surrounding hills, thick & dense forests of oak & rhododendron.

Kali Bari

The temple is situated near to Malls and is being visited by thousands of devotional pilgrimage during the festivals of Diwali & Durga Pooja celebrated during the end of the year.

Saharan

A magnificent place that offers a marvelous view of Shrikhand Mahadev. The Bhimkali temple situated here is dedicated to goddess Durga and it is believed that it is this place where goddess Durga killed the demon Bhasmasur. In addition to that, the place also offers a rich variety of delicious apples & other fruits.
