Following are some of the popular short brak ideas while visiting India:

Jaipur - Agra - Delhi

This tour is known as Golden Triangle. It covers three cities (Delhi, Agra and Jaipur) and is the most visited holiday in India. The tours starts from sightseeing at Delhi where tourists visit Red Fort, Qutab Minar, India Gate. This is followed by a trip to Agra where tourists visit Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and other Monuments. Next day tourists visit Fatehpur Sikri and Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. After that tourists visit Jaipur for sightseeing at Amer Fort, Jantar Mantar (Observatory), Hawa Mahal and shopping. The complete trip can be done in 5-6 days.

Jaipur - Ranthambhore

This tour covers the monuments and places in Jaipur and Wildlife in Ranthambhore First day arrive in Jaipur and sight seeing of monuments - Amer Fort, Jantar Mantar (Observatory), Hawa Mahal. Next day for further sight seeing of different places and shopping followed by dinner in traditional Indian Restaurant. Next day, trip to Ranthambhore (180Km) from Jaipur and visit Park in the evening and enjoy the Safari Next day, morning further tour of the National Park and later catch come back to Jaipur. Manali

A short break in Manali Hill Station situated 6500 ft above sea level in Himachal Pradesh. Manali is a famous tourist spot for sight seeing as well as adventure activities. First day arrive in Manali and visit temples (Hadimba Temple, Vashisht hot water springs) and enjoy the sight seeing in Manali. Next day visit Kullu region and Manikaran hot springs during the day. Visit Tibetan market and shopping areas around the Mall area. Near by places to visit include Bilaspur and Rohtang for sight seeing. The complete trip can be done in apprx. 3-4 days.

Kolkata

Kolkata also known as the "City of Joy" is a city of rich cultural heritage. Every year Kolkata attracts a huge number of tourists from all over the world. People from different parts of India and tourists from other countries love to visit this beautiful city. The city can be visited on a weekend and a complete trip can be done in approx. 2-3 days.

Nashik - Shirdi - Aurangabad

Nashik is an indestrial city and a religious place famous for temples. Shirdi at 90 kms from Nashik is known for its Saibaba Temple and now a major pilgrimage centre in India. Aurangabad at 150 kms from Shirdi is a major tourist destination with architecturally renowned Mughal era Monuments and proxmity to World famous heritage monuments of Ajanta (100 kms) and Ellora Caves (40 kms). Nashik can be reached from Mumbai by road where various temples can ve visited (Panchvati, Sita Gufa (Caves)). Next day, proceed to Shirdi (90 Km) for Saibaba Darshan in the afternoon. Relax in the evening and proceed to Aurangabad for sight seeing and Ellora caves, followed by full day sight seeing to Ajanta Caves. The complete trip can be done in approx. 4 days.

Kovalam / Poovar

Beaches at Kovalam have resorts with beach access and good sea views and relaxing atmosphere. 20 Km form Kovalam is Poovar beach and is a good option for backwater/beach combination. The complete trip can be done in 4-5 days.

Khajuraho

Khajuraho temples are innumerable. But they have been so far divided into 3 geographical divisions. The divisions of Khajuraho temples are the Western group, the Southern group and the Eastern group. The complete trip can be done in 2-3 days.
