Kapila Tirtham

Sri Kapileswaraswami Temple

At the foothills of Tirumala Hills, this temple is located. It is about 3 km away from the city. This is a Shiva temple and attracts many devotees and tourists. The main attraction of this region is the nearby waterfall known as Kapila Teertham.

Sri Kodandaramaswami Temple

This temple is situated almost at the heart of the city. During the 10th century, this temple was built by the Chola King. In this temple one will find deities of Rama, Lakshmana and Sita. Here religious festival remembering the visit of Rama is celebrated.
