By Air

By Rail

The city of Delhi is well connected to the rest of India by railway. The Indian Railway connects the capital city with other major cities of the country. The Rajdhani Express connects Delhi with the other state capitals of India. The Palace on Wheels is a luxurious train to travel to Delhi. The 3 main railway stations of Delhi are Old Delhi Railway Station, New Delhi Railway Station and Hazarat Nizamuddin Railway Station.

By Road

Several expressways connect Delhi to the rest of the Indian cities. Bus services from Delhi to other parts of the country are operated by the state transportation corporations of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana and others. The neighboring city of Lahore in Pakistan can be traveled in bus from Delhi, which is operated by Delhi Transport Corporation.
